The great work of the Indiana Section volunteers was highlighted in the December 10th issue of Chemical and Engineering News! Check it out in the From the Editor (pg 5) and ACS News (pg 56) sections! Using an ACS Innovative Project Grant, the Indiana Section transformed a dreary pediatric office waiting room at St. Vincent's Zionsville Clinic into a colorful chemistry themed play space for kids. Congrats to everyone involved!
The Indianapolis Project SEED is a triumph of volunteer efforts. It is the largest program of its type in the country and its 40 year record of success is owed to the numerous people who volunteer to make this program successful. More information is available at http://www.indyprojectseed.org/ and Volunteers Needed (PDF).
